Description
Job Purpose: Provide and source products and services being responsible of the sourcing process aligned with the sourcing department strategies and methods.
Accountabilities and responsabilities:
Follow the seven steps process
Identifies the key challenges of the stakeholders within Technical departments and connect those challenges with solutions from third parties
Develop a stong industry and market knowledge. Explore competitive sourcing intelligence.
Actively contributes to the Category and commodity Strategy, its implementation and life cycle in alignment with the category manager
Manage the supplier relationships related to the products and services allocated
Define KPI and SLA for supplier performance management in alignement with the sourcing performance manager
Engage with diffeent stakeholders at company level
Optimizes supplier portfolio
Ensures compliance with existing contracts
Benchmarks cost and processes
Qualifications :
Master degree in a Major Discipline or equivalent thru experience
5 years of buyer experience with min 2 with technical purchases
Knowledge of sourcing methodologies and evolution
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Risks, Opportunity and changes management
Ability to work independently
Pragmatic
Ability to manage projects including process (deadlines and milestones), contributors, expectations/communication, etc.
Critical mindset with feedback culture
Gathers and interprets information in an analytical way
Problem solving, perseverance and entrepreneurship,
French or Dutch are required as well as english
